The Pink City - Jaipur

Jaipur, the lively capital of Rajasthan, is fondly known as the Pink City—a name it earned in 1876 when Maharaja Ram Singh had the city painted pink to welcome the Prince of Wales. Even today, that warm, rosy colour gives Jaipur its unique charm, especially when set against the backdrop of forts like Nahargarh and Jaigarh.

The city is a beautiful mix of old-world royalty and modern energy. Its bustling markets are full of colour and character, offering everything from handcrafted leather shoes and tie-dye scarves to blue pottery and dazzling gemstones.

Set in the heart of the Thar Desert, Jaipur reflects Rajasthan’s proud history and architectural brilliance. As part of India’s famous Golden Triangle (Delhi–Agra–Jaipur), it continues to draw visitors from around the world, inviting them into a timeless world of tradition, beauty, and culture.
